Before adding a book to biblu, please make sure you have the physical book before you.
Once ready to add a book, you can add the book by tapping on the big blue plus button in the middle of the navigation menu at the bottom of biblu's screen.
Tapping on the big blue plus button will open your camera.
There are two ways to add books, (1) by scanning the book cover and (2) by scanning the ISBN.
To add books by scanning the book cover:
- Point your camera to the book's front cover, and ensure you position the front cover inside the guiding lines at the center of the screen.
- Then tap on the white circle at the bottom of the screen.
- Once you snap the book's front cover, biblu will identify the book's cover, title, author, year of publishing, and genre. You can add as many books as you wish in a single setting.
- Once you are done, you will find all your books under the My Books tab on the Lend screen (you can find the Lend screen on the main navigation menu at the bottom of biblu's screen).
To add books by ISBN scanning:
- Switch the toggle on top of the screen to ISBN scanning.
- Then, point your camera to the book's ISBN (usually found on the back cover of a book).
- biblu will automatically identify the book (without snapping any pictures of the ISBN)
- You can add as many books as you wish in a single setting.
- Once you are done, you will find all your books under the My Books tab on the Lend screen (you can find the Lend screen on the main navigation menu at the bottom of biblu's screen).
